CarMD Connect: How to Use the Geofencing Feature

Purpose

To guide you in setting up and managing geofencing alerts using the CarMD Connect app.

Step 1 - Tap the 'Map' button on the footer navigation bar.

Step 2 - Tap the ‘Alerts’ tab on the group bar.

Step 3 - Tap the ‘+’ add an alert button.

Step 4 - Search by name or address (work, school, home, other) for the desired location and select it.

• The "Add an alert" screen displays.
• Name the alert if desired.

Step 5 - Tap 'Save' to confirm, or 'Cancel' to exit without saving.

Step 6 - Go within 0.3 miles of the alert location.

Note: All members who are part of the "My Group" will receive the alert. To view all posted alerts, tap the 'Bell' icon on the top navigation bar.
